Thanksgiving Stuffing

Ingredients

Scale

3 stalks celery 

2 onions              

1 apple               

1 orange                   

16 oz. pkg. bread cubes

1 c. white or rose wine

1-2 c. water              

1# Italian sausage

1 T. lemon juice

1 T. hot sauce

1 T. minced garlic

½ t. sage

½ t. poultry seasoning

1 t. chicken base

Instructions

      Chop celery, onions, apples, and peeled orange. Place in a very large bowl. 

    Brown sausage and add to bowl of chopped items.  Add lemon juice, hot sauce, garlic, and seasonings to bowl. 

     Add the package of bread cubes and mix together.  Add wine.  Begin adding water, keep mixing with your hands.  Add enough water to make a mush like consistency. 

     Stuff turkey and place the rest in small pans to roast in the oven alongside the turkey.    

     Cover with tin foil and bake at 325 degrees for about two hours.
