Sausage Stuffing Balls

     I serve the stuffing balls with my home-made cranberry sauce.

Ingredients

1# Italian sausage

16 oz. box stove top stuffing mix

3 c. cheddar cheese, grated

1 c. water

 

Instructions

     In a saucepan, bring 1cup water to a boil, then add the contents of the stuffing.  Mix well, remove from heat, and set aside to cool. 

     In a large bowl, mix the uncooked sausage with the stuffing and cheese until thoroughly combined.

     Roll the mixture into 1 inch size balls.  Pack them tightly so they hold together.

     Place them in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

     Placed the chilled sausages balls on a baking sheet and bake in a 350-degree oven for 25 minutes or until done.

     Allow to cool and serve.
