Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained

½ c. fresh parmesan cheese

1 egg lightly beaten         

1# Italian sausage or ground beef with 1 T. Italian seasoning

2 c. Spaghetti sauce

8 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese

 

Instructions

Toss spaghetti, parmesan cheese and egg.  Place in a pie plate.  Press along bottom and sides to form crust.

Brown the meat and drain.  Add the spaghetti sauce and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.  Spread the meat mixture over the spaghetti crust.  Sprinkle with cheese. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Let stand before cutting into wedges.  This is an excellent recipe to make ahead and freeze.
