Sloppy Joes (18-22 people)

Served at the ‘Siesennop Open’.

Ingredients

5# ground beef

3 can Sloppy Joe sauce

¼ c. brown sugar 

¼ c. ketchup

1 t. basil

1 t. oregano

12 T. hot sauce

Instructions

     Brown ground beef in a large pot, drain. Add Sloppy Joe sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and spices, to the pot.  Simmer for 10 minutes.

     I place each 5# Sloppy Joe mix in a large container and freeze.

     I unfreeze 2 days before the event.  I serve it in a slow cooker.
