Biscuits:
2½ c. Bisquick baking mix
4 T. cold butter
1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
¾ c. milk
½ t. minced garlic
Topping:
2 T. melted butter
½ t. garlic powder
½ t. parsley flakes
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine Bisquick with cold butter using a pastry cutter, or a large fork. You don’t want to mix too thoroughly. There should be small chunks of butter in there that are the size of peas. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and minced garlic. Mix by hand, until combined, but don’t over mix.
Drop approximately ¼ cup portions of dough onto an un-greased cooking sheet.
Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. When you take the biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 T. butter in the microwave and stir in the garlic powder and parsley flakes. Use a brush to spread the melted mixture over the tops of the biscuits.
