Aunt Peggy Henriksen’s recipe
Ingredients

8 lasagna noodles, cooked as directed on pkg.
1# Italian sausage or ground beef
1 t. minced garlic
1 T. Italian seasoning
1 t. salt
8 oz. tomato sauce
2 c. cottage cheese
1 egg
1 t. season salt
½ t. pepper
½ c. parmesan cheese
8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Cook lasagna noodles.
Brown meat, drain fat and add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and tomato sauce. Simmer uncovered 15 -20 minutes.
Meanwhile combine cottage cheese w/ egg, seasoning and parmesan cheese.
Place 4 noodles in a 13” x 9” pan. Spread half of meat mixture, then cottage cheese mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Repeat layers.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
