Fireball Whiskey Chicken Wings

Ingredients

Chicken Wings

4# split chicken wings

1T. Fireball Whisky

3T. brown sugar

1T. salt

1 T. chili powder

1 t. pepper

1 t. garlic powder

1 t. paprika

1 t. cinnamon

Optional: red pepper flakes for extra spice

 

Fireball Whiskey Sauce

1c. brown sugar

¾ c. Fireball Whiskey

¾ c. ketchup

¼ c. apple cider vinegar

¼ c. Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Chicken Wings

Place chicken wings into a large bowl or gallon size plastic bag.  Add remaining ingredients (Whisky through cinnamon).  Toss until evenly coated.  Marinate for at least one hour in the fridge.

     Place the wings on a lined baking sheet.  Place in a 425 degrees oven for 40 – 45 minutes, flip them halfway through cooking.  For extra crispy wings, turn the broiler on high for the last 2 minutes of cooking.

     Serve with Fireball Whisky sauce.

 

Fireball Whiskey sauce

     Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then whisk over medium low heat for 10 minutes.
