Dark Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

Scale

1 c. sugar 

¼ c. cocoa          

1 t. cornstarch 

½ t. salt

1 c. water

4 T. butter

1 t. vanilla

Instructions

Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in a microwavable bowl.  Stir in water.

     Cook in microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring twice.  Add butter, cook on high power 2 minutes.  Stir well.  Blend in vanilla.  Make 3cups sauce. 

     Topping for ice-cream or brownie cake.
