Brie Pastry Puff

Ingredients

1 small round wedge of brie cheese

1 puff pastry sheet

4 oz. mushrooms, diced

1 t. minced garlic

slivered almonds

fresh parsley

*raspberry jam can be substituted for mushrooms and garlic.

 

Instructions

Sauté the diced mushrooms, minced garlic and almonds in a small amount of oil.  Place the mushroom mixture on top of the brie cheese.  Wrap the pastry sheet around the cheese, securing all edges. 

Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.  Set for 30 minutes. 

Serve with french bread, crackers or sourdough rounds.
