Blackened fish

Ingredients

Blackened Seasoning 

1 T. smoked paprika   

2 t. salt

1 t. garlic powder

1 t. onion powder

½ t. cayenne pepper

2 t. pepper

½ t. thyme

½ t. oregano

 

Fish fillets

2-5 T. butter (depends on how many fillets)

fish fillets: Cod, Tilapia, any type

Instructions

     Mix Blackened seasoning ingredients together.   

     Pat dry fish fillets and add Blackened seasoning to both sides of fillets; making sure to have the fillets well coated. 

     Melt butter is a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.  Cook for 2-5 minutes each side (depending on the thickness of the fillet).
