Chocolate Frosted Cookies

Scale

½ c. shortening

1 c. brown sugar

1 egg

1 t. vanilla

2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted

1 2/3 c. flour

½ t. salt

½ c. milk

½ c. walnuts, chopped

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, vanilla and melted chocolate. Blend in the dry ingredients; alternately with milk.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Chocolate Frosting: Follow frosting recipe. Frost cookies.
